Posted 19 November 2008
Four men were arrested yesterday, Tuesday, Nov. 18, in immigration raids of Peony Chinese Restaurants in Vinton and Toledo.

Agents with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency arrested three men from Mexico and one from China. Two employees were arrested at each restaurant, according to an ICE spokesman. The men face administrative immigration violations for being in the country illegally.

The arrests were part of an ongoing investigation by the law enforcement agency. The same family owns the restaurants in Vinton and Toledo.
