News NICC's 18th Annual Senior Fest May 20 Posted 14 May 2009 Register now for Northeast Iowa Community College’s 18th Annual Senior Fest on Wednesday, May 20. Senior Fest enjoys high popularity with area residents each year and the annual celebration includes seminars, entertainment, presentations on local history, information on financial topics and much more. Plan to join NICC on May 20, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., to participate in this event. The event will be held at the college’s Peosta campus. Sessions and activities at Senior Fest also include a question and answer format on Web Cams, dancing classes and beauty secrets, and a storytelling session about famous Dubuquers. Additional sessions explore Tai Chi, banking tips, bird identification, yoga and genealogy. Attendees at previous Senior Fest events responded positively on the variety of activities offered, and especially enjoyed NICC’s fresh approach to programming each year. The NICC Peosta Campus is located on Sundown Road, just off the Rte. 20 exit. Cost for the entire day of activities and events is $8 and pre-registration is required.
